Eid Mubarak! 

Eid will be on Weds, April 10, 2024.

Takbeer starts at 8:00 AM

Salah Beginning at 8:30 AM

Food: Please bring sweets or breakfast items to share at a potluck immediately after Eid Prayer.

Zakat Ul-Fitr: $15 per person in your household.

Please make sure to pay it before Eid Prayer to be considered Zakat.

Otherwise, it is considered a Sadaqa (charity).

Parking:

  • Please keep ICSC front parking for individuals with handicap placards and the elderly.
  • Park along the fire department yard fence. DO NOT BLOCK the gate.
  • Park along Felt Street in the permissible spots.
  • Additional Parking is available at 1818 Felt St, Center for Spiritual Living.

Eid Picnic:

• On Eid day, Wednesday, at 1 PM. at Anna Jean Cummings Park (blue ball park).

  • Activities: Soccer game and Magician at 2 PM.
  • Pizza and drinks will be catered. Desserts and fruits are welcome. Bring your chair/ Blankets.

Sadakah

مَّن ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ وَلَهُ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ [سورة الحديد.11]

 

Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward? [Al-Hadid.11]

 

 


Masjid Operations

إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آَمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآَخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآَتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ فَعَسَى أُولَئِكَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِنَ   الْمُهْتَدِينَ [سورة التوبة.18]

The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakāh and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided. [At-tawba.18]

 


Zakat

  وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَّعْلُومٌ. لِّلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ

[سورة المعارج.24-25]

And those within whose wealth is a known right. For the petitioner and the deprived [Al-Ma’arij.24-25]
